St Regis Hotel and Residence – Atlanta, GA

Completed in spring of 2009, this 5-Star Luxury property includes 185 hotel rooms and 48 luxury residences located in the heart of Atlanta’s Buckhead shopping district. Onepath Systems, under contract with Trammel Crow Development, worked very closely with NTI to integrate the complete AV system including 45 zones of distributed audio, room-combining and touch-panel control for the 7000 square foot ballroom and Video distribution in 8 salons and 5 meeting rooms

In addition to the meeting spaces, distributed audio and selected video control was provided to the hotel’s main restaurant, wine bar and main bar and outdoor dining terraces.  Central control of the AV system was built around Crestron Technology using over 20 Touch panel and keypad devices throughout the hotel. Digital Signal Processing was utilized to control all audio distribution to 45 zones and over 300 indoor and outdoor speakers. A stand-alone AV system was also designed and installed in the hotel’s Presidential Suite with touch panel control of both video and audio sources.

Onepath was also selected to design and install the AV solution in the Hotel’s Spa. This system provided separate room control using Crestron touch panels to control audio distribution in each of the 13 treatment rooms as well as lobby and public areas of the Spa. Onepath was able to complete this job on time and within budget. Onepath also provided all voice/data backbone and cabling systems for this job.

Marriott Gateway Complex – Atlanta, GA

Completed in the spring of 2010, Onepath Systems, under Contract with Grove Street Partners, LLC, provided and installed the Audio-Visual, Security and Voice/Data systems for this twin-hotel project.  Located adjacent to Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the complex contains two properties – a 180 room Marriott Spring Hill Suites hotel and the larger full-service Marriott Gateway.  

The full-service Marriott project is similar in scope to many of the other hotel properties Onepath has completed including a large distributed audio system featuring over 50 zones and 300+ speakers, a large divisible ballroom (7000 + square feet), with each Salon equipped with individual touch panel for audio, video and room-combining technology.  The main boardroom is outfitted with a large ceiling recessed video screen and Christie Digital projector system to allow for large corporate style presentation systems. Similar systems are provided for in each of the other 7 hotel meeting rooms. The entire distributed audio and video system is powered by Symetrix Systems.

Finally, Onepath is working with Symon Systems to install the Electronic Reader Board (ERB) system throughout the hotel property.

In addition to distributed audio, video and room-combining control in the public areas and meeting spaces of the hotel, Onepath was selected to provide Design/Build services for the Champions Restaurant and Sports Bar, the featured dining area of the property.  Champions was designed around a “Day-Part” space plan, utilizing much of the space for breakfast in the AM hours while switching to a more sports oriented theme following the breakfast hour.  The system is designed to provide centralized control of over 40 individual flat panel displays and a 4×4 matrix video wall using Crestron Digital control systems. The system allows for wireless control from anywhere in the restaurant area of up to 32 individual video inputs along with distributed audio control and inputs including the hotel’s own background music sources.

The smaller Spring Hill Suites property located across the street from the Marriott property was completed in November and is now open for business.  Onepath provided and installed a complete AV system in the hotel’s public areas to include Distributed Audio to 12 zones and video control and distribution to the meeting rooms and front lobby signage display.  This entire system is powered and controlled by Crestron’s Quick-Media System.

Emory University Hotel and Conference Center – Atlanta, GA

Completed in the spring of 2009, this stunning 200,000 sq ft addition to the existing conference center featured four new meeting rooms, a combinable multi-function ballroom, Executive boardroom and bowling alley.  Designed by NTI, the AV solution included a distributed audio system using Biamp DSP Processors to over 12 zones as well as Crestron Quick Media video distribution to the meeting rooms, ballroom and boardroom.

Using Crestron touch panels, both audio and video could be combined and shared with any of the new public rooms in the new space. Video Presentation was delivered using Christie Projectors to the meeting rooms and boardroom.  This project was managed by Cousins Properties, Atlanta and was brought in under budget and on schedule.
