..................................................................................................................................................Onepath Systems Serves State of Georgia’s Dept. of Administrative Services for Audio-Visual Needs
The State of Georgia’s Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) selected Onepath Systems as a contract partner for the launch of the first ever state-wide AV purchase contract. Onepath was selected to provide Audio-Visual components and equipment to all state agencies including all state universities, colleges and schools.
All state affiliated agencies or departments can utilize this contract through the newly created Team Georgia Marketplace website created by DOAS. AV products such as video projectors and screens, document cameras, wired and wireless microphones, equipment racks and projector/flat panel mounting hardware can all be purchased using the new on-line “E-Catalog”. The launch of this state-wide contract is the first of three phases which will allow all state agencies to purchase virtually any type of AV equipment as well as secure pricing for integration services such as engineering and design, installation and systems programming and configuration.
Georgia Technology Authority
In late 2008 the Georgia Technology Authority awarded the GAIT 2010 contract for Statewide Managed Network Services to AT&T and its partners, including Onepath Systems. Over the next several months Onepath mobilized and managed a comprehensive statewide initiative to inventory all voice, LAN, and WAN services and equipment at almost 4,000 State of Georgia locations—including large installations such as the Medical College of Georgia, University of Georgia and Central State Hospital
Onepath recruited, interviewed, trained and processed the critical background/security checks of all personnel involved in this asset inventory. Then, Onepath scheduled, coordinated and quality controlled some 80 technicians across the State to document thousands of telephones, lines, patch panels, switches, WAN circuits and routers, as well as key systems and PBX’s. By late September of 2009, some 3 months ahead of schedule, the team of Onepath project managers, engineers technical partners, celebrated the completion of this massive undertaking.
