Healthcare facilities face very unique problems. A typical hospital operates hundreds of disconnected IT systems, building management systems, and IP-based medical devices. These health organizations have a critical need to link a wide range of applications running on different platforms. To complicate this matter, healthcare organizations must also find ways to connect their systems with the automated claims processing systems of the insurance industry to maintain compliance with U.S. HIPAA guidelines.
Onepath Systems understands these challenges. Integration of critical building controls such as emergency power, fire and security alarm
systems, and access control systems with network components such as the IP backbone and paging systems can save lives during a crisis.
Grady Hospital, in Atlanta, discovered that Onepath Systems has the experience, vision, and commitment to solve tough problems. Grady needed a new IP network backbone to support data, voice, and video initiatives need for advanced medical applications. Onepath Systems teamed with AT&T to deliver a state-of-the-art network architecture allowing Grady to better server their patients for many years to come. Grady selected Onepath’s office of Governance and Project Management (GPMO) to oversee all components of the new installation.
Onepath Systems is proud to provide structured network cabling, alarm systems (fire, security, access control), Audio/Video solutions, energy management, network integration, and IT consulting solutions to hospitals, clinics, and physician practices.
