For the 2nd year in a row, technology-based companies have dominated the GA FAST 40 program. Of the 40 Georgia-based businesses honored for 2011, 35% were companies from the technology industry. The FAST 40 program is evidence that in today’s Georgia market, tech companies are innovators who lead by example. The awards program honors middle-market companies headquartered in Georgia that have achieved the greatest growth in revenue and employees over the past three years. To be selected, companies had to demonstrate sustained growth over three years with emphasis given to revenue growth – 75 percent – compared to 25 percent for employee growth.
